Umami Black Rice & Greens

What's better than a recipe? Something that is so easy, you can make it without measuring cups and with your eyes closed in 20 minutes flat. This is that non-recipe and it is what your weeknight meal rotation is begging for. 


Ingredients


1 cup The Grainery Black Rice (cooked according to instructions)
2 tablespoons Graze Black Tahini
3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
2 limes (juice 1 1⁄2 of the limes, quarter the remaining half for serving)
200g of mixed greens (brussel sprouts, pak choi, broccoli, sugar snap peas baby spinach all work well)
2 spring onion stalks (finely chopped)
5 radishes (thinly sliced)
Handful of crushed cashews
Olive oil

Method


Mix black tahini and teriyaki sauce together. Add lime juice. Mix well. Set aside
Lightly pan fry your chosen greens in a little olive or sesame oil.
Coat the black rice in your black sesame dressing. Top with greens, spring onion and radish. Sprinkle cashews over the top. Serve warm.
